FOOD SENSITIVITY AND INTOLERANCE TEST (PEDIATRIC PANEL)
The ALCAT Pediatric Wellness Sensitivity and Intolerance Panel is a simple blood test that measures the body’s cellular reactivity to 70 items including the foods in the 50 Food Panel and the substances in the 20 Food Additives and Colorings Panel.

Children may have difficulty explaining exact symptoms and may not remember exactly what they ate and how much. Trying to identify the cause of a child’s discomfort can be complicated but the intolerance and sensitivity test and help to pinpoint specific foods and food additives that should be avoided.
Some common food intolerances in children are:
•Dairy products (lactose)
•Food additives and preservatives
•Fruit juice
•Wheat
Food intolerance is much more common than allergies and dietary changes to avoid the offending food can help your child feel better quickly.
This panel is recommended for children 3 years of age or younger.
